1. Coronation Street: Gary has murder in mind
(Wednesday at 8pm on ITV)
Panic sets in for Gary and Maria when they discover Kelly's bed hasn't been slept in. Aadi reveals that Kelly went off to meet one of Rick's old clients.
Meanwhile, being held against her own will in a dingy cellar, Kelly is handed a phone by Kieron and ordered to text Gary. In a clever move, the teen sends a message asking Gary to let her mum know she's fine, and straight away he realises something is very wrong.
Things take a chilling turn when Gary then receives a call from Kieron, demanding £50,000 if he wants to see his surrogate daughter alive again. With no time to lose, Gary gets to work.
Having managed to scrape together half of the ransom sum in cash, Gary meets up with Kieron and Ross on a side street. The thugs aren't happy and make it clear that Kelly will suffer until Gary finds the rest of their money.
However, they've underestimated who they're dealing with, as Gary forces his way into the cellar and tells Kelly he placed a tracking device on the money bag he gave her kidnappers.
Believing they've got the better of Rick's old cronies, the pair prepare to leave, only to find Kieron standing behind them, wielding a crowbar. A violent brawl ensues, and as the red mist descends over Gary, Kelly is shocked by his murderous intent.
2. Emmerdale: David catches Leyla in the act
(Tuesday at 7.30pm on ITV)
As Jacob prepares to head off to university, David is annoyed by Leyla's lack of interest in the teen. In a coke-fuelled moment, Leyla throws some cash at the problem by offering to help pay for Jacob's uni accommodation, but soon regrets being so generous.
Things go from bad to worse for the drug addict when she messes up at work and Kim fires her as her wedding planner. In turmoil, Leyla prepares to do another line of cocaine in the office, but is caught out when David suddenly walks in.
Horrified, David decides to tell Liam so Leyla can get the help she needs and sends the doctor a message asking to meet. But having Liam know about her substance abuse is the last thing Leyla wants and she makes a last-minute plea to David, insisting she has finished with the coke for good.
3. EastEnders: Ben reveals his killer secret
(Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One)
With Ben's behaviour spiralling out of control and causing tension at home, Kathy urges him to speak to a specialist about his rape. However, things only get worse, and when Rocky loses his patience and delivers Ben a few harsh truths, Ben responds by accidentally punching Kathy in the face.
Ben ends up crashing at Jay's, but Honey's not happy and makes her disapproval known.
Later, Ben approaches Honey and Kathy to apologise for his behaviour, but flies off the handle when his mum encourages him to get help. Heartbroken, Kathy makes the decision to temporarily cut her son out of her life.
With Phil otherwise engaged, Ben decides to go for a drink with old school mate, James. The lads end up kissing in The Arches, and when James offers him drugs, Ben doesn't hesitate in accepting.
The next morning, Ben wakes up in the garage and is forced to hide the drugs when Kheerat walks in. The pair get talking, and Kheerat shares some sentimental words about their friendship, causing Ben's guilt over Jags's death to resurface.
Consumed with self-loathing, Ben takes more drugs and makes a fool of himself at Peggy's. Kheerat realises he's high and takes him to be checked over by Ash, but nothing prepares the Panesars for the shock they get when Ben reveals that he killed Jags by stopping the protection.
4. Hollyoaks: Saul is stabbed
(Monday at 7pm on E4 and Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)
An important issue-based storyline is at the centre of Hollyoaks as PC Saul Reeves becomes the victim of a knife attack. The week opens with a flashforward of a mystery figure dumping a blood-stained hoodie in a rubbish bin, and events go back in time to reveal how the brutal event took place.
DeMarcus is still stewing over his attack at the hands of Joseph and slips a knife into his bag in case the bully strikes again. Meanwhile, on Saul's suggestion, Felix decides to join the police shadowing scheme in order to protect his son. But will a surprise search at the school by Saul uncover DeMarcus's hidden blade?
Later, a heated confrontation in the park leads to tragic consequences and the locals are horrified to learn Saul has been stabbed.
An investigation into the attack is launched, and while traumatised Sid questions his future on the force, DeMarcus is in the frame when Grace sees a video of him holding a knife and talking to Saul.
It's touch and go whether Saul will survive his injuries, and soon a shock flashback reveals which one of the villagers was responsible for the attack.
5. Neighbours: Izzy's up to her old tricks
(Tuesday at 1.45pm and 6pm on Channel 5)
Izzy is continuing to make her presence in Ramsay Street felt and Susan is convinced the meddling minx has a hidden agenda. Susan and Toadie try their hardest to work out what Izzy is up to.
Izzy tells Karl she wants to make Mal's dream of moving back to Erinsborough come true and she needs his help to make it happen. Doctor K is left facing a huge dilemma and Susan is furious when she realises Izzy is using Holly in order to manipulate Karl.
Although adamant she doesn't want Izzy living anywhere near them, Susan feels as in a lose/lose situation. And things only get worse when Izzy and Mal announce their latest moving plans, leaving poor Susan blindsided and powerless to stop them.
6. Emmerdale: Amelia puts Thomas in danger
(Thursday at 7.30pm on ITV)
Amelia's health takes a turn as she begins to experience worrying side effects from the weight gain syrup she has been taking. The teen's vision blurs during a visit to see Noah in prison, but Amelia ignores the warning signs and agrees to babysit for Gabby instead.
Unfortunately, her dizziness and nausea get worse, and Amelia faints while holding baby Thomas. Coming round, Amelia panics when Harriet turns up and pretends Thomas fell from his high chair. The tot is rushed to hospital, and later Amelia is caught out when Lucas reveals he saw her fall holding Thomas.
Furious, Kim calls Amelia out for lying, and the youngster is left facing a barrage of questions about her blackout. After coming clean to dad Dan about the weight gain syrup, Amelia agrees to go and get checked out at the hospital.
As Dan breaks down in tears over his daughter, Gabby receives a visit from social services wanting to speak about Thomas's fall.
7. Coronation Street: Phill fights for Fiz
(Wednesday at 8pm on ITV)
Returning home from the awkward honeymoon with Phill, Tyrone admits to Fiz they're back at square one with her estranged husband. Jilted Phill is refusing to accept his five-minute marriage is over, and after overhearing Fiz admitting she likes a man in uniform, an idea forms in his mind.
Later, Phill arrives at the factory dressed as Richard Gere's character from An Officer and a Gentleman and tries to sweep Fiz off her feet, only to drop her when his back goes.
Mortified by the cringeworthy episode, Fiz helps her ex to A&E, where he seemingly admits defeat by agreeing to sign the annulment forms.
However, Phill still has some fight left in him and asks Fiz to attend couples' counselling with him. Fiz is horrified to realise it's with the same therapist she and Tyrone have been seeing.
As Evelyn wades into the drama, Phill reconsiders signing the annulment, but a chat with Hope gives him fresh hope it's not over.
8. EastEnders: Avery passes away
(Monday at 7.30pm on BBC One)
With cancer-stricken Avery too weak to travel to their favourite childhood restaurant, Mitch decides to surprise him with a Caribbean-themed party at the launderette.
As the bash gets under way, the brothers reminisce over old times and Avery thanks Mitch for everything he has done for him. But the celebrations are tragically cut short when Avery slips away as Mitch is talking to him.
The next day, Mitch shows his support for Finlay and Felix by taking them for lunch at Walford East, where they make some very lavish plans for Avery's funeral. But when Karen hands Mitch a letter she found from his late brother, he makes a shock discovery that changes everything.
9. Hollyoaks: Mason makes a discovery
(Wednesday at 7pm on E4 and Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)
After crushing on Ella for a few weeks, smitten Mason decides to take the plunge and ask her out. Charlie makes fun of his plans, but Lizzie is keen to help her brother impress Ella and helps him use social media to show off his magician skills, with Ethan acting as his assistant.
Unfortunately, Mason's efforts backfire, and Mason is gutted when Ella ends up swooning over the wrong guy. The disheartened lad is given a few lessons in love and decides to surf the web for tips on how to get his girl.
But Mason's research throws up some surprising results when he stumbles upon Eric's toxic online posts. Will he expose his disturbing radical views?
10. Home and Away: Cash spends the night with Rose
(Wednesday at 1.15pm on Channel 5)
With Jasmine busy working a night shift, Cash takes the opportunity to cut loose at the Paratas' barbecue. One beverage quickly leads to several more, and after refusing Tane and Felicity's offer to take him home, Cash calls in on Rose and invites her to carry on drinking with him.
Mac soon kicks the sloshed copper out of Salt, and worried Jasmine will see him in a state, he begs Rose not to take him home.
The next morning, a groggy Cash wakes up next to Rose in her car and is mortified when Felicity clocks them together. Rose is quick to reassure him their night together was purely platonic, but Cash is worried to tell Jasmine in case she assumes the worst.
Later in the week, Cash decides it's time to 'fess up, only to discover Jasmine is leaving the Bay to go look after Robbo's mum, who has just suffered a heart attack.
Cash resolves to let Jasmine know everything once she returns home, but is left rattled when Felicity points out Rose may already think they're more than just friends.
